Residents Can Bring and Sort the Following Waste at Large Waste Collection Sites Free of Charge:
Large waste, wood
Furniture with integrated soft parts;
Sofas, beds, mattresses;
Armchairs, office chairs, bean bags, carpets;
Sections, shelves, wooden chairs, benches, wardrobes, dressers, doors;
Wooden pallets, europallets, boards, skirting boards, trims, construction rafters/beams/supports/exterior finishing wood;
Accepted: up to 500 kg per resident per year
Construction waste
Concrete;
Bricks;
Insulating, mineral materials;
Mixed construction, demolition waste;
Window frames, dirty glass, glass units, sheet and reinforced glass;
Laminate, linoleum;
Mirrors.
Accepted: up to 300 kg per resident per year
Asbestos-containing waste
Asbestos roofing sheets (slate);
Asbestos panels used for wall or ceiling finishing;
Other asbestos-containing insulating materials.
Accepted: 100 kg per resident per year
Tires
Passenger cars, bicycles, motorcycles (up to 5 units per resident per year;
Not accepted: truck and agricultural machinery tires.
Hazardous waste
Household chemicals:
- home cleaning and personal hygiene products – detergents, disinfectants, surface cleaners, acetone (e.g., in nail polish remover), drain cleaners, floor and furniture alcohols,
- aerosol cans;
- paints, varnishes, ink, adhesives;
- pesticides and fertilizers for non-professional use;
- photography chemicals
- packaging contaminated with hazardous substances* from oil, paints, varnishes, adhesives
* packaging that contained hazardous substances and mixtures, which are practically empty and without residues inside, not additionally contaminated, can be classified as non-hazardous packaging waste and sorted according to the material they are made of, e.g., plastic, paper, metal, or glass packaging.
Automotive care waste:
- oil and fuel filters;
- oils, brake and coolant fluids
Mercury-containing waste:
- batteries and accumulators;
- fluorescent lamps (accepted: up to 30 units per year)
- thermometers
Accepted: up to 50 kg per resident per year, batteries and accumulators unlimited, fluorescent lamps – up to 30 units per year.
Electronic waste
Refrigerators, televisions, stoves, electronic toys, electrical appliances, and other electronic devices.
Accepted: unlimited*
*Fluorescent lamps up to 30 units per year.
Metal
Metal household items – hangers, buckets, pans, clothes dryers, bicycle frames, etc.;
Large metal items – fence elements, pipes, metal sheets, radiators, etc.;
Small metal items – nails, screws, cans, and other metal packaging;
Tools, equipment, and their parts.
Accepted: unlimited
Textiles
Used clothes, curtains, bedding, towels, soft toys, footwear, handbags, various fabrics, etc.
Accepted both clean and contaminated textiles, but clean must be packed separately from contaminated!
Accepted: unlimited.
Prohibited to dispose of textiles contaminated with hazardous substances (oils, paints, adhesives, varnish). Textiles contaminated with hazardous substances are sorted as hazardous waste.
Glass
Clear glass, window glass (without frame), various glass containers, clean glass shards.
Accepted: unlimited.
Paper and cardboard
Newspapers, magazines, and other prints, packaging, cardboard, scraps;
Accepted: unlimited
Plastic waste
Films, containers, toys, pipes, various containers, and plastic packaging;
Accepted: unlimited
Not accepted: plastic car parts, contaminated plastic containers are classified as hazardous waste)
